What are the requirements for roller manufacturing?

Date:2023-11-10 Hits:164

The roller plays a fatal linking role in the roller conveyor, so the roller also has extremely strict requirements in the manufacturing process.

When manufacturing the roller, it should have sufficient rigidity to ensure that the bending deformation during heavy loads does not exceed the allowable value. The surface of the roller should have sufficient hardness, generally requiring HRC50 degrees or above. The coating has an anti peeling effect, ensuring that the surface of the roller has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

The surface of the roller should also be carefully machined to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. The roughness should also be maintained above Ra0.16 and should not exhibit pores or grooves. The outer wall thickness should be uniform, otherwise it will cause uneven temperature on the roller surface.

When processing the roller, attention should be paid to thermal conductivity. At this time, attention should be paid to the selection of cold hard cast iron. In other cases, cast steel or molybdenum chromium alloy steel should also be used to ensure that both heating and cooling can achieve rapid and uniform effect.
